Arsenal will send scouts to watch Tammy Abraham playing for AS Roma against Leicester City on Thursday, according to reports.

TuttoMercatoWeb report that Arsenal will send observers to the stands of the King Power Stadium on Thursday to watch Tammy Abraham playing for AS Roma against Leicester City.
Arsenal would have a vested interest in the game anyway, considering Ainsley Maitland-Niles is on loan with Roma.
But Maitland-Niles has played five minutes of their six games this month, so making the trip for him alone would probably be a waste of time.
Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto will also be present at the stadium, though TMW report that he’ll be ready to send any potential offers for his players back to the sender.
Nicolo Zaniolo is another player who will seemingly be drawing interest on the night, particularly from Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Football.London recently reported that Tammy Abraham has joined Gabriel Jesus on Arsenal’s shortlist of summer signings.
Arsenal submitted enquiries for the AS Roma forward in January, and could be set to make a move in the upcoming months.
Arsenal were also interested in Abraham last summer, with reports suggesting the Gunners would have liked to bring him in alongside all their other business in a busy 2021 window.
The problem was that the Gunners failed to move on Alexandre Lacazette or Eddie Nketiah. With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also still at the club at the time, they couldn’t afford a fourth senior striker for a fee of tens of millions plus wages.
It’s a different story this summer, with all three of Lacazette, Nketiah, and Aubameyang likely to be gone.
Roma signed Abraham for €40m, and he’s gone on to score 24 goals for them in all competitions.
