Starting with Arsenal, the good news is that Takehiro Tomiyasu has a good chance of being involved in the squad.

Mikel Arteta couldn’t 100% confirm that update, as he was holding his press conference before training, but it’s now as likely as it’s ever been.

“If [Tomiyasu] trains today and he feels good he will be available tomorrow,” Arteta said.

Other than that, Arteta confirmed no new injuries for Arsenal yet. It’s still possible the club will pick up on an issue in training on Friday, but for now, it’s all good news.

Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney are obviously still absent and not yet close to comebacks.

As for Manchester United, it’s more of a mixed bag. Their good news is that Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, and Scott McTominay are all available for the game.

On the other hand, Edinson Cavani, Fred, Luke Shaw, and Paul Pogba have all been ruled out, with Pogba’s injury proving worse than initially believed.

United obviously should be pretty fired up after their shambolic 4-0 defeat against Liverpool, and they’ll hope the addition of a few starters will turn things around against Arsenal.
