The Courier report that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Dundee FC’s Luke Graham, scouting him during one of his loan fixtures for Lochee United at the weekend.

Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic also sent scouts to the clash.

Graham is currently on trial with Sheffield United for the week, joining up with them on Monday morning, so Arsenal may need to formalise their interest soon if they don’t want to miss out.

18-year-old Graham is a centre-back who is yet to feature for Dundee FC’s first team, but he’s impressing on his loan spell with Lochee United.

The Courier report that his stature and ability on the ball are helping him to stand out to prospective buyers.

Arsenal’s centre-back situation in the youth teams is a little hard to judge.

There have been points this season where the u23s have had almost no one available, but there are a lot of defenders on the books if everyone is fit, available, and not on loan.

Perhaps Arsenal showing an interest in bringing another centre-back in is an indicator that we may see a few more departures this summer – whether those are sales, contracts expiring, or further loan moves.
