Bukayo Saka has made another appearance in the BBC Team of the Week, following his goal and assist against Watford.

Garth Crooks released his BBC Team of the Week following the most recent round of matches, and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka made it into the side.

Crooks wrote that “the reason the Gunners are still flirting with a top-four place is due largely to the brilliance of Bukayo Saka”, adding that Saka “has grown tremendously since he played in the European championships and seems to glide through games”.

A former Tottenham Hotspur player, Crooks couldn’t resist a little dig, suggesting that “if Arsenal can’t provide Champions League football for the youngster then I suggest he finds it somewhere else”.

Ideally, that’s not going to be an issue, as Arsenal finish in the top-four and qualify for the Champions League this year.

If they’re going to have any hope of doing so, however, Crooks isn’t wrong that Saka will play a major role.

Saka put in an all-action performance against Watford, setting up the opening goal, scoring a fantastic finish of his own, and making two tackles and two interceptions to help shut the opposition down.

The Arsenal winger was also in the BBC’s Team of the Week a couple of weeks ago, following his performance against Brentford. It’s certainly hard to ignore his recent form.
