Atletico Madrid have Alexandre Lacazette on their list of Luis Suarez replacements this summer, but Arsenal could still extend his deal.

Spanish outlet Sport report that Alexandre Lacazette is one of Atletico Madrid’s options to replace Luis Suarez this summer, with the Uruguayan striker set to depart at the end of his current contract in June.
As things stand, Lacazette is also set to be a free agent in June, so Atletico are considering swapping one for the other.
But Lacazette’s time with Arsenal may not be over just yet. Jeunes Footeux report that Lacazette has impressed Mikel Arteta recently, and they’re now reviewing their previous contract offer to him.
The Gunners are considering making a more attractive financial offer to keep Lacazette around, though nothing will be finalised until the end of the season.
Lacazette hasn’t been scoring lately, but he’s top of the Premier League for assists in the last nine games (with seven).
All seven of those assists came in wins for Arsenal, so he’s clearly having an impact.

Arteta recently admitted the future is still uncertain for the striker, adding that Lacazette is at least acting like someone who wants to stick around.
“We don’t know what’s going to happen at the end of the season,” Arteta said.
“We don’t have contracts that run for 20 years, it’s part of our job. He behaves like someone who wants to stay with us.”
As well as Atletico, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas recently told the media they intend to make a move for Lacazette this summer.
“We’ll do our best to sign Alexandre Lacazette in June,” Aulas said.
Lyon director Vincent Ponsot added: “We’ve seen the maturity that he’s acquired. We’ve always remained in contact with him. But bringing in big players is always complicated.”
