Arsenal are looking to make as many as six summer signings on top of the one they’ve already agreed, according to a report.

Arsenal already have one signing in place for the summer, with Matt Turner set to hold his medical and complete his transfer at the end of the season.

That deal is already agreed, but the Evening Standard report that many more could follow.

They claim that Arsenal are prioritising signing two new strikers and a midfielder, which isn’t hugely surprising.

We’ve known the club were looking to sign at least one striker and a midfielder for a while.

On top of that, however, Arsenal are also exploring signing a winger, a left-sided centre-back, and a right-back.

Arsenal’s Premier League finish will obviously have a major impact on their budget, and a knock-on effect on how many of these deals they can actually do.

If the Gunners can finish in the top-four and qualify for the Champions League, that will obviously maximise their chances of landing all of their targets.

As for potential targets, the list is long right now. At centre-forward, the Evening Standard mention Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jonathan David, Darwin Nunez, and Armando Broja.

In midfield, Douglas Luiz, Ruben Neves, Youri Tielemans, Danilo (of Palmeiras), and Carney Chukwuemeka are all on the shortlist, whilst Djed Spence is an option at right-back.

With a few months to go until the transfer window opens, those lists will probably grow and shrink quite a few more times before any signings are actually made.
