Arsenal and Manchester United have made offers to Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo, according to a report.

Gerard Romero reports that Ronald Araujo has received proposals from Arsenal and Manchester United for a potential summer transfer.
United are offering the most, proposing a net annual salary of €8m, whilst Arsenal are willing to offer €6m.
23-year-old Uruguay international Araujo currently plays for Barcelona, where he’s made 31 appearances this season.
The centre-back has a contract lasting until 2023, so it’s pretty likely he either extends his deal or moves on soon.
Marca report that Barcelona aren’t ruling anything out at this stage.
The club are in talks with Araujo over a potential new contract, and they want him to stay, but they’ll also consider offers for his departure.

With Calum Chambers leaving Arsenal, as well as loanees Konstantinos Mavropanos and Pablo Mari looking pretty likely to follow in the summer, it’s not impossible Arsenal make a move for another centre-back.
On the other hand, the Gunners still have Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, and loanees William Saliba and Daniel Ballard returning.
They may decide to stick with those five and invest elsewhere in the team.
