Turkish outlet Aksam claims a number of clubs are interested in the summer signing of Kerem Akturkoglu, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Olympique Lyonnais, Atletico Madrid, and Wolfsburg.

According to Aksam, Arsenal and Spurs will formally open negotiations once the season ends, with Galatasaray hoping to raise more than €20m for his departure.

Galatasaray have already reportedly turned down a €15m bid from Wolfsburg for the player whose deal doesn’t expire until 2026.

Akturkoglu has scored 11 goals and assisted seven this campaign, as well as winning a couple of penalties, and he’s capable of playing on either wing – though he mostly starts on the left.

Turkish outlets have a particularly sketchy record when it comes to Arsenal transfer news.

Other than the transfer of Mesut Özil (which made since given his boyhood ties to Fenerbahce), it’s hard to think of an Arsenal transfer they’ve been right about in the last few years.

So take the claims with a huge pinch of salt.
