Pablo Mari hasn’t had much of a role to play at Arsenal this season and, even though the Mail on Sunday believe he should have played at right-back against Spurs this weekend, he will be available for Arsenal no more.

Fabrizio Romano, via Gianluca di Marzio, reported that the defender will spend the rest of the season on loan with Udinese earlier in the week, news that has now been confirmed.

The deal does not include an option to buy.

Negotiations apparently began eight days ago.

Mari has played just 270 minutes this season and actually vanished for a large part of it.
