Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Juventus and is in talks for a Premier League comeback, but it’s still not clear where he’s going.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri stoked the flames of the rumours surrounding Aaron Ramsey’s future this week, telling the media that Ramsey was “set to leave” in the January window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, talks are ongoing for the midfielder’s Premier League comeback.

Quite where he’s going is still a mystery. The Daily Mail report Ramsey has already turned down offers from Newcastle United, Wolves, and a couple of Spanish clubs, believing he can earn a move to a more high-profile side.

The S*n have linked Ramsey to Burnley, which seems particularly unlikely.

Eurosport previously suggested West Ham United, Everton, and even Arsenal were among the potential suitors. But that was last month, and none of those links seem to be leading to anything.

Then there were the links to Crystal Palace, but the Mail report that Patrick Vieira’s side are walking away from the deal as well.

Juventus seem pretty sure Ramsey is going to be on the move before deadline day, and the Premier League does appear to be his planned destination.

But for now, there’s still no obvious favourite to sign him.
