The Telegraph report that Patrick Bamford is facing at least two weeks out after an injury which became apparent after he scored his equaliser at the end of the Brentford game.

Arsenal are set to travel away to Leeds on Saturday, December 18th at 17:30 GMT, less than two weeks away.

That’s not the end of the bad news for Leeds. Kalvin Phillips is set to miss two months with a hamstring injury, and Liam Cooper has also suffered a hamstring injury.

Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk are both out for now as well. Struijk could return this weekend, and Koch’s return date is a bit of a mystery.

For the time being, it looks as though Koch won’t be available for Arsenal, but that could yet change.

Arsenal fans don’t have a huge number of reasons to be optimistic at the moment, after a couple of poor results.

But the win over Leeds at the Emirates in October involved appearances for Phillips, Struijk, and Cooper, so it can surely only be good news that Marcelo Bielsa might be forced into fielding an even weaker side this time.
