Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly given the greenlight to a move to Barcelona in January according to El Nacional.

Moves seem to be afoot to bring about an end to Arsenal and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s three-year spell at the club.

Left out of the squad for the game against Southampton at the weekend because of a disciplinary breech, it would be no surprise to see Arsenal sell their captain in the January window after they announced he had been stripped of the captaincy.

Barcelona have been linked with Aubameyang for a while now and are said to be interested in recruiting a forward in the January market.

Recently, it was claimed that Aubameyang’s agent had been in touch with the Spaniards about the possibility of a move.

If that happened, it appears Auba might like what he’s heard back.

Aubameyang still has two years remaining on his Arsenal contract and is valued at around £22m.

Aubameyang has scored 92 goals for Arsenal, with 21 assists, in 163 games.
