Mikel Arteta was delighted when he spoke to the media immediately after Arsenal smashed Norwich City 5-0 on Boxing Day but he was not entirely happy about having to play again so soon.

Even Mikel Arteta couldn’t help but be happy after Arsenal scored five on the road, taking their post-Aubameyang tally to 19 goals in five games, when they scored 15 in the 10 before.

Arteta was also asked about the former captain but wouldn’t answer if Aubameyang has a future at the club.

Finally, he said that you cannot say it is fair that Arsenal play Wolves in under 48 hours, when their opponents have had a nine day break.

Hard to argue with that.
