Five Arsenal players completed the full 90 minutes for their loan clubs.

Lucas Torreira made another start for Fiorentina as they thrashed Salernitana, notably completing 11 of 11 attempted long passes in the 4-0 win.

Miguel Azeez had a big day, playing consecutive league games in full for the first time all season. He rewarded his manager’s selection decision with an assist in a 2-0 win, and he also hit the woodwork in a strong performance.

Konstantinos Mavropanos capped his birthday with a goal for VfB Stuttgart in a rare win away to Wolfsburg.

Ross County and Harry Clarke also managed a rare victory, beating Dundee United 3-2 to claw their way off the bottom of the Scottish Premiership.

Runar Alex Runarsson didn’t have such a good day, as he played the full match as Oud-Heverlee Leuven lost 2-1 to KV Kortrijk.

Another big piece of good news was the return of Jordi Osei-Tutu for Nottingham Forest. Finally making his post-injury comeback, the right-back made it all the way to the 89th minute in Forest’s 4-1 win over Swansea City.

Matt Smith played most of Doncaster Rovers’ 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town, coming off in the 83rd minute after creating a big chance.

Nikolaj Moller was the only other loanee to feature, playing the final couple of minutes of Viktoria Koln’s defeat to Eintracht Braunschweig.

Dejan Iliev, Daniel Ballard, and Tom Smith (injury), as well as Tyreece John-Jules (selection), all remained absent this weekend. Jonathan Dinzeyi made the Carlisle United squad, but he didn’t come on.

Still, it was one of the better Arsenal loan Saturdays in a long time, with plenty of appearances and wins.

Sunday mostly went in a similar vein, with all of Arsenal’s remaining loanees featuring and only a couple of points dropped.

William Saliba played the full 90 and helped Marseille keep a clean sheet away to Strasbourg in a 2-0 win, with Matteo Guendouzi coming on for the final 35 minutes.

Hector Bellerin also completed a full match for Real Betis as they thrashed Real Sociedad 4-0 to secure third in La Liga.

Reiss Nelson only played a few minutes for Feyenoord in their draw with Groningen, but it was a positive cameo, creating a chance and having a shot on target. He must be working his way towards a league start now.
