After getting off the mark with a goal this week, there was further good news for Nikolaj Moller in the form of a call-up by the Sweden u20s.

The Swedish football federation announced their November call-ups for the Sweden u20s on Wednesday, with Arsenal loanee Nikolaj Moller making the cut.

The Sweden u20s are set to face Finland on both the 11th and 14th of November. Moller has previously represented Sweden at u19 level, but this is his first call-up to the u20s.

The 19-year-old centre-forward is currently on loan with FC Viktoria Koln in the German third tier. His spell has been disrupted by an infection and an injury, and he’s only made seven appearances and five starts so far.

From his 414 minutes on the pitch, Moller has two goals and one assist, all from Monday’s match in the Middle Rhine Cup. He seems to have found form just in time for the international break, and can hopefully carry that momentum into Sweden’s two matches.

Before that, Viktoria Koln travel to Turkgucu Munchen on Friday for a league fixture.
