Dejan Kulusevski has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal, so it’s worth noting that he’s previously admitted to being a fan of the club.

A number of Italian outlets recently reported that Arsenal are interested in Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski, and the player’s past interview comments suggest he’d be open to a move.

Speaking on Swedish podcast Lundh in 2019, Kulusevski was asked for his favourite team.

“My favourite team is Arsenal, because I like everything about the club, the city, the players and the way they play football,” the player answered.

Di Marzio report that Arsenal have made initial enquiries into the potential signing of the Juventus man. They claim Arsenal have set their sights on the 21-year-old, as they look for attacking reinforcements in the January market.

Tutto Juve add that the Swedish international could leave in January, drawing interest from Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur as well as Arsenal.

The same outlet claims Juventus are looking for €35m to sell the player.

Tutto Mercato Web write that Kulusevski seems to be destined for Arsenal for around €30m, though they also add that Spurs are interested in the player.

Antonio Conte has obviously taken over at Spurs having previously managed at Juventus, but their time didn’t overlap at all. Conte will know Kulusevski more as an opponent from his time in charge of Inter Milan.

Kulusevski has made 15 appearances for Juventus this season, but that’s a somewhat misleading representation of how much he’s been used.

Of those 15 appearances, just two were starts, one in September and one in October.

Generally considered a right-winger, Kulusevski has also often been used centrally or on the left by Juventus.

He has eight goals and eight assists in 3,160 minutes for the club, a goal contribution every 198 minutes.

At 21, the various interested clubs would presumably be hoping Kulusevski still had room to improve as well.
