WhoScored announced their Premier League Team of the Month on Monday, with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale and Emile Smith Rowe both featuring in the side.

Ramsdale won plenty of praise with a fantastic display against Leicester City to cap off October, having also kept a clean sheet against Brighton earlier in the month.

The goalkeeper was unlucky to lose his clean sheet against Aston Villa after an inch-perfect late finish from Jacob Ramsey, and there wasn’t much he could do about the goals scored by Crystal Palace either.

Overall, Arsenal fans ended the month very happy with the 23-year-old.

The same is true for Smith Rowe, who scored twice and assisted once in his four league games in October. He was also one of Arsenal’s better players against Brighton, despite the team’s struggles in general that day.

The duo are deserving entrants in WhoScored’s Team of the Month, and they’ll hopefully make a return appearance again in November.
