Arsenal are having one of their busier international breaks, with 11 first-team players, two youth players, and six loanees all called up by their senior national teams.

There are a couple of players missing out this time around. Albert Sambi Lokonga took advantage of a couple of injuries to make his debut for Belgium in September, but Roberto Martinez didn’t have room for him this time around.

Granit Xhaka would usually be a certainty for a call-up with Switzerland, but he’s out with injury.

Those are all the results over the break, which leaves a few Arsenal players that didn’t get any minutes this time around.

Leno, Ramsdale, Runarsson, and Iliev didn’t get a game, as none of them are their country’s first-choice goalkeepers, but they all made the matchday squad over the break.

By contrast, Rekik wasn’t in Tunisia’s squad at all, which was a little more surprising given he also missed Arsenal’s u21 match on Tuesday. Unfortunately, it turns out he’s picked up an injury.

That’s one bit of bad news in an ultimately positive break. Arsenal’s key first-team players appear to have avoided injury and plenty of them got goals and assists to bring them back to London with a bit of added confidence.
