One of Arsenal’s fan-favourite chants in recent weeks and months has been the song aimed at star youngsters Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

To the tune of Status Quo’s “Rockin’ All Over the World”, the Arsenal fans sing “Saka and Emile Smith Rowe” at most games at the moment. It helps that Saka provided an assist and Smith Rowe scored on Saturday.

The supporters ended the match in jubilant spirits, singing the team over the line and cheering each player who came over to applaud them afterwards.

That energy clearly transmitted through to the players, with Rob Holding posting a video singing the fan’s chant whilst Ben White danced along in the background.

The feel-good factor is an important one for Arsenal at the moment. With such a young side, there are inevitably going to be ups and downs, so the squad need to keep the energy and momentum going in each performance.

It’s also nice to see players enjoying themselves who aren’t necessarily involved in the league games right now. With Holding singing on the coach and Maitland-Niles pictured beaming after the Leicester game, it seems the current optimism is infectious.
