Arsenal are preparing a €30m bid for Club Brugge winger Noa Lang in January, according to a report from Belgium.

Voetbal24 report that the interest in Noa Lang in increasingly considerably ahead of the January transfer window. The winger’s first start and assist for the Netherlands over the international break has done nothing to quell that interest.

Club Brugge are reportedly well aware they’ll be able to cash in on Lang in the next couple of windows, and Arsenal are preparing a €30m bid for the player. Brugge are hoping for €40m.

As well as his recent international debut, Lang is also impressing with his club. He’s kicked off the season with four goals and four assists in 13 games, following his 28 goal contributions in 2020/21.

Lang started his senior career with Ajax, but his loan to Club Brugge last season led to an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

Given how well that campaign went, Ajax were probably kicking themselves that they put the obligation in his loan deal.

It looks like Brugge are set to benefit financially, whether the links to Arsenal are true or not. He only cost them around €6m, so even a €30m bid from elsewhere would be a very significant value increase.
