This is one of the worst possible draws for Arsenal, as there will be no easy games in the group.

You would still, however, expect Arsenal to qualify for the knock-out stages.

The full fixture list will be confirmed later on Monday or Tuesday.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Matchday 1: 5/6 October
  • Matchday 2: 13/14 October
  • Matchday 3: 9/10 November
  • Matchday 4: 17/18 November
  • Matchday 5: 8/9 December
  • Matchday 6: 15/16 December

All games will kick off at 18:30/18:45 CET or 20:45/ 21:00 CET.

The full draw Champions League group stages draw is:

Group A: Chelsea, Wolfsburg, Juventus, Servette

Group B: PSG, Breidablik, Real Madrid, Kharkiv

Group C: Barcelona, Arsenal, Hoffenheim, HB Køge

Group D: Bayern Munich, Lyon, Häcken, Benfica

Group A is quite clear with Chelsea and Wolfsburg huge favourites to go through.

Group B is easy for Paris Saint-Germain, and you would expect the three other teams to battle for the second spot.

Group C will be extremely open, even if you expect the top two teams to go through. Any complacency will be punished.

Group D is another with two teams favourite to go through in FC Bayern and Lyon.
