On Tuesday, the Northern Ireland senior side and the u19s both announced their squads for the upcoming October international break.

Arsenal loan defender Daniel Ballard is once again part of the senior squad, which is set to face Switzerland and Bulgaria in World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

Both games are away from home and take place on Saturday, 9th October at 19:45 BST and Tuesday, 12th October at 19:45 BST respectively.

Ballard is already into double figures for appearances for his national side, and he looks set to make a couple more in the next fortnight.

Meanwhile, Arsenal youth defender Henry Jeffcott has received his second consecutive call-up for the Northern Ireland u19s.

The 17-year-old made his debut for the side in a friendly against Faroe Islands in September, but he’ll now get a competitive opportunity in the u19 Euro qualifiers.

The games will be played in the Czech Republic, and Northern Ireland will face Denmark (Wednesday, 6th October), the Czech Republic (Saturday, 9th October), and Kazakhstan (Tuesday, 12th October). All three games are at 14:00 BST.

Congratulations to both on their most recent call-ups!
