The draw for the FA WSL Continental Cup took place on Friday 30 July on Talksport and there have been many changes to the rules and regulations this season.
Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal were not included in the initial draw.
There might be some rule changes during the season like last year, when the FA changed the parameters for the best runner-up, just before the final match day.
The FA WSL and FA WC teams are split in five groups, two in the North and three in the South.

Group B and and E are heavy on FA WSL unlike the other three groups. The group stages will run from 13-14 October through to 15-16 December, with the quarter-finals scheduled for 19-20 January, the semi-finals 2-3 February, and the Final on the weekend of 5-6 March.
Chelsea will enter the tournament at the quarter-finals stage, while Arsenal and Manchester City will enter at the same stage if they are through to the UEFA WCL group stage. If they are not, they will be drawn in Group C,D or E.
The first place team in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, joining those clubs competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
If Arsenal and/or Manchester City enter the group stage of the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup, the best runner-up/two best runners-up will progress with the five group winners.
