Hector Bellerin’s representatives are still looking to find him a transfer before the window closes, with three Spanish clubs remaining in the race.

TheAFCBell report that Hector Bellerin’s agent Albert Botines is still looking to find his client a way out of Arsenal before the closing of the transfer window.

At this stage, there are just three options still on the table. Real Betis, Villarreal, and a third unnamed Spanish club are still interested in a move for the Arsenal right-back, but nothing is currently imminent.

David Ornstein recently reported for The Athletic that Bellerin still wants to move on this summer, and he’s growing “extremely frustrated” at the fact the club don’t seem close to finalising a departure for him. That frustration has presumably only grown in the last fortnight.

Bellerin has made his desire to leave clear to Mikel Arteta and Edu, and he’s ready to take a pay cut if necessary. He’s hoping to make a push to return to the Spain squad this season ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

The issue has simply been the lack of serious offers to take Bellerin. There are so few clubs willing to pay a decent transfer fee out there at the moment, and none of the various swap deal avenues have led to anything so far.

If the right-back does join Real Betis, Villarreal, or the other Spanish club in the next 24 hours or so, it’s hard to see it being on any more than a loan basis.
