Arsenal aren’t interested in offloading Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette, who are simply ill, according to a report.

The Mirror report that contrary to certain recent claims, Arsenal are not interested in getting rid of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette.

The article adds that there’s no issue with either player from a disciplinary standpoint. They are ill, they missed the Brentford game with that illness, and they may miss the Chelsea game too, but they haven’t been dropped.

According to the claims, there has been no bust-up or disagreement with Mikel Arteta, and the pair will rejoin the squad as soon as they can.

Arsenal expect Aubameyang to remain in the squad after the transfer deadline, there hasn’t been any offer to make them even think about selling Lacazette so far.

That could change, of course, but so far Arsenal haven’t been tempted to sell either of their big-name strikers.

Ideally, the pair will be fit and healthy again as soon as possible, rejoin the squad, and this whole story can stop being a talking point.
