Arsenal have provided their latest team news update, and there’s quite a bit of good news in there after a difficult couple of weeks.

To kick things off, Arsenal report that Martin Odegaard has received full clearance to play against West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup on Wednesday.

In further good news, Alexandre Lacazette and Runar Alex Runarsson are both back in full training after recovering from Covid-19, and Gabriel Martinelli and Kieran Tierney are also back in full training following their leg cramps at the weekend.

Hector Bellerin is back in training following the injury to his thigh, though he’s still being assessed for Wednesday’s match. Encouragingly, Gabriel Magalhaes is also back in training with the squad and reportedly progressing well.

Eddie Nketiah and Thomas Partey remain absent with injury, hoping to be back in training in early September and the end of August respectively. Ben White and Willian are also reportedly still being assessed after their recent positive Covid-19 tests.

Based on the above information, it sounds like Odegaard, Lacazette, Runarsson, Martinelli, and Tierney are all available for selection on Wednesday, Bellerin and Gabriel are probably unavailable but close, and Nketiah, Partey, White, and Willian remain absent for the time being.
