Belgian outlet DH les Sports + report that Albert Sambi Lokonga arrived in London on Saturday morning to begin his isolation period before finalising his transfer to Arsenal.

Sacha Tavolieri confirms the news, adding that Sambi Lokonga will be unable to join his teammates immediately in Edinburgh, but if all goes well he should be on the trip to the United States.

Fabrizio Romano reports that all the paperwork between Arsenal and Anderlecht is complete, and the deal will be made official after his quarantine period.

Sambi Lokonga held a medical in Belgium before travelling to London, presumably so they could pick up on any issues before wasting his time travelling and isolating. He passed the medical, according to Sven Claes, so he was free to make the trip.

DH’s report suggests Sambi Lokonga will still need to undergo the final part of his medical tests in England after his quarantine, but after that, the deal will be complete.
