The first promotional picture of Arsenal’s 2021/22 home kit has leaked, with the official release of the shirt approaching.
Posting on Sunday, Footy Headlines leaked the first promotional picture of the new Arsenal home kit for the coming season. With the start of the pre-season fixtures just over a day away now, we still only have the away kit officially released at this stage.
Though the above graphic is the only shot we have of the players wearing the shirt, we’ve also seen some higher quality pictures of the new top via Twitter user @ArsenalShirt.
There’s been some debate about the exact planned release date of the shirt, but Charles Watts reports that it will be launched towards the end of this week. The plan is to wear it for the first time in the friendly against Rangers on Saturday.
The pre-season games are coming thick and fast to showcase the new kits in. The away shirt will be on display against Hibernian on Tuesday, then the home against Rangers on Saturday.
Arsenal then travel to the US to kick off the Florida Cup against Inter Milan next weekend.
