Inter Milan are looking at Hector Bellerin as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi, who is joining PSG, but they haven’t met Arsenal’s terms yet.

As reported by various outlets on plenty of occasions in the past, Inter Milan are looking at Hector Bellerin if Achraf Hakimi leaves this summer. That departure is now pretty much a certainty, with Hakimi travelling to Paris to hold a medical and sign his contract.

Spanish outlet Sport report that Inter are now primarily looking at Davide Zappacosta and Hector Bellerin, and that they’ve even reached an initial agreement with the player. But Arsenal and Inter are still a way off a deal.

The problem is that Inter want a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, whilst Arsenal want a transfer worth €20-25m.

Speaking on The EyetoEye Podcast, Fabrizio Romano reported that nothing is close between the two clubs, and Arsenal won’t accept a loan with an option.

Bellerin has also been linked with multiple clubs in Spain, with Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, and Real Betis all credited with an interest. If any of them make a permanent bid, Arsenal are sure to prioritise that over Inter’s current offer.
