James Maddison’s camp are open to a move to Arsenal this summer if a suitable offer arrives, according to a report.

TheAFCBell report that despite signing a new contract last year, James Maddison’s camp aren’t closing the door on an exit from Leicester City this summer.
The player’s representatives have reportedly notified Arsenal that their client is open to a new challenge if a suitable offer arrives in the current window.
TheAFCBell broke the news of Arsenal’s interest in Maddison earlier this week, and it’s since been picked up around the English media.
We’ve already covered Football.London and the Daily Mail’s updates, with Football.London claiming Arsenal are considering a move and the Mail suggesting he’s one of the club’s key transfer targets, but both outlets agreeing he could cost £60m or more.
The Mirror have since weighed in as well, suggesting Arsenal are admirers of Maddison as an ambitious potential target.
The Gunners are clearly hoping to bring in a fair bit of money through player sales this summer, and they’ll have to if they’re going to afford the likes of Maddison and Brighton’s Ben White.
The good news is that if they can agree a fee with Leicester City, it seems Maddison himself is open to the transfer.
