Inter Milan have reportedly asked for Arsenal for Hector Bellerin on loan with an option to buy him at the end of the deal.

Hector Bellerin is expected to leave Arsenal this summer, although things had gone relatively quiet on the rumour front.

Now, they seem to be taking off again.

A few days ago, it was reported that Inter Milan wanted Bellerin, 26, to replace Achraf Hakimi as he gets closer to a move to PSG, but he wasn’t the only name on their shortlist. They were also considering Denzel Dumfries of PSV Eindhoven and Davide Zappacosta of Genoa.

A report from Italy on Sunday, however, claims that Inter Milan have contacted Arsenal to make the offer and that, should Arsenal refuse, Inter’s alternative would be Zappacosta.

Bellerin has also been linked with a move to Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, and Real Betis with Arsenal asking £20m for a player who arrived in 2011 but, sadly, hasn’t been the same since his knee injury.
