Football.London report that Per Mertesacker is considering Nikolaj Möller’s next steps, amid interest from several European clubs. Möller will definitely go out on loan, the only question is whether Mertesacker decides it’s better to stay in the UK or go abroad.

Chris Wheatley adds on Twitter that a decision will be made over the next few days.

Möller was one of eight players confirmed available for a loan based on a list Arsenal sent around to UK clubs. After joining from Malmö last summer and spending the year with the u23s, Arsenal clearly feel it’s time to test him in senior football.

The 18-year-old striker directly contributed to 10 goals in his 20 appearances in his debut campaign, despite the team’s struggles and battle with relegation. A tall but technical forward, he could be a useful addition to plenty of clubs next season.

It would be good to get it sorted as soon as possible, as Arsenal have a lot of business to do this summer and the interest in Möller should make this an easy one to finalise.
