To top off a rather unbelievable week for Bukayo Saka, he’s now been named Arsenal’s 2020/21 Player of the Season by the fans.

Arsenal announced on Friday that Bukayo Saka had won the fan poll for Player of the Season by somewhat of a landslide. The 19-year-old earned 51% of all votes, after ending the campaign with seven goals and seven assists for his club.

This put him ahead of Nicolas Pepe, who took 15% of the vote, and Kieran Tierney, who garnered 14%. Those two were clearly very popular with supporters by the end of the campaign, which just makes Saka’s earning over half of all votes more impressive.

But by this point, these awards are hardly surprising. Just this week, Saka has been nominated for both Premier League Young Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year.

He’s also already won the London Football Awards’ Young Player of the Year award.

On top of that, the teenager is earning praise from England manager Gareth Southgate following his winning goal against Austria in a Player of the Match performance earlier this week.

That was Saka’s response to being called up for Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2020. It’s getting hard to keep track of everything he’s achieved this week, but congratulations to the youngster on a well-deserved Arsenal Player of the Season award.
