David Ornstein reports for The Athletic that Bukayo Saka is set to be rewarded for his starring performance against the Czech Republic with a start for England against Germany in the last-16.

Ornstein expects Saka to join Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling in a front three, with England expected to play a 3-4-3 formation.

In slightly less encouraging news for England fans, this likely means that both Mason Mount and Jack Grealish will drop out of the side, as well as Phil Foden being benched for Saka. So a lot of the creative pressure will fall on the Arsenal youngster.

But for Arsenal fans, this is just the news most of us were hoping to hear. Saka deserves to reap the rewards of his Star of the Match group stage display and his Player of the Match performance against Austria pre-tournament.

The Daily Mail reported late last week that Saka was expected to miss out on the starting lineup, but it appears either that information was wrong or Gareth Southgate had a change of heart.
