Aston Villa are said to be getting ready to submit a second bid for Emile Smith Rowe despite being told that he is not for sale.

Just a few days ago, BirminghamLive reported that Aston Villa have been told there’s ‘no chance’ of landing Emile Smith Rowe. They added that the Arsenal 20-year-old is poised to sign a new long-term contract to stay with the Gunners.

This is something that has been in the pipeline for a while, now, with the midfielder expected to change to the number 10 shirt with his new deal.

Still, Villa aren’t deterred and plan to submit a second, fruitless bid.

Although the unofficial official line from Villa is that they are looking to ease some of the creative burden from Jack Grealish’s shoulders, more likely they are looking for his replacement.

City are already said to have submitted/thinking of submitting a £100m bid for the Englishman currently being outshone at the Euros by Bukayo Saka.
