Chris Wheatley reports that Arsenal are looking at potential clubs for George Lewis to join on loan next season. The 20-year-old winger has just completed his first campaign with the Gunners, after joining on a free transfer last summer.

The winger initially made a strong start to his career with the academy, scoring in a friendly against Spurs before adding another goal and assist in his first three competitive games of the season.

But following an injury less than a month into the campaign, Lewis struggled to have an impact. He made just six appearances in 2021 after returning to fitness in January, and only three of those were starts.

A good loan would allow Lewis to play more consistently and hopefully rediscover his initial Arsenal form. He has the raw pace to make an impact in the right team.

The question is whether any club are willing to offer him a chance after his u23 struggles this year.
