On Thursday, Arsenal confirmed that Dani Ceballos, David Luiz, Leonie Maier, Martin Odegaard and Mat Ryan will all leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of June.

We all knew that Luiz was off and we expected the loan players, Odegaard, Ceballos and Ryan to depart, with only Ryan holding a chance of a return to the club. As for Leonie Maier, well, we also knew she was off as she already told us she’s leaving.

All in all, there wasn’t much we all didn’t already know when it came to the senior players.

As for the Arsenal youngsters, there had been talk of a new contract for Joseph Olowu but he joins Levi Lang, Luke Plange and Jason Sraha in not signing new deals (or being offered them) and will also depart on 30 June.
