The Evening Standard report that Arsenal have shown interest in Lille right-back Zeki Celik ahead of the summer, though Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also monitoring his situation. From abroad, Inter Milan are also tracking the 24-year-old.

Celik is expected to leave Lille this summer, and he has two years left on his contract. He’s valued at around €15m (£13m) and will be playing for Turkey at Euro 2020 this summer.

The player himself is reportedly open to a Premier League move, as Arsenal look to secure a replacement for the likely departing Hector Bellerin.

L’Equipe reported just last week that Celik could leave Lille this summer, and they named AS Roma as another Italian club in the race.

Clearly, there’s a lot of competition for a young and promising full-back who has just won Ligue 1 with his current club.

Without the promise of European football next season, Arsenal will be relying on Celik prioritising starts, which the Gunners could certainly give him if Bellerin goes. Arsenal also have a relationship with Lille from past transfer deals – Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel.

Celik made 35 appearances for Lille this season, scoring four goals and assisting two from right-back.
