Mikel Arteta is apparently interested in bringing Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez to Arsenal this summer with Manchester City willing to sell both players.

Both Manchester City men are players that Arsenal were linked with before they signed with City, with Mahrez even saying a move to Arsenal from Leicester was blocked.

Now, both Sterling and Mahrez are up for sale as City look to refresh their squad and the Gunner’s name is in the mix due to the Mikel Arteta connection.

As Mokbel notes in his piece above, the main problem here will be price and Arsenal’s lack of cash.

Sterling, 26, has two years left on his current City contract and is valued at around £80m while Mahrez, 30, also has two years left and is worth around £37.8m.
