The Daily Mail report that Arsenal have scouted Yves Bissouma as a potential central-midfield signing for this summer. They’ll face competition from Liverpool and a fee of around £40m, but he’s on their list for the upcoming window.

The Daily Star report that Arsenal believe they’re close to winning the race for Bissouma already. With two years left on his contract, the midfielder looks certain to make a summer exit, and it reportedly appears that the Gunners are in pole position.

The Star claim Arsenal are trying to secure a £30m deal, though this does conflict with the Mail’s £40m price tag – a fee which is backed up by previous reports from The Athletic.

The Athletic claimed Brighton owner Tony Bloom knows there’s a huge amount of interest in the player, and wants to see that reflected in the offers they receive.

Multiple other outlets have already linked Arsenal with Bissouma, from the Mirror’s report of their interest last month to his agent apparently confirming Arsenal’s involvement last December. The price is still a big ask, but the rumour is growing.
