It’s been a mixed bag of a week for the Arsenal men and youth but Arsenal women had a week to remember.

vs Villarreal
Arsenal were fortunate to come away from this game still within a shout of making the final and I think it’s best if we all agree to never mention it again.
vs Newcastle United
Arsenal made light work of Newcastle, playing with a swagger than has been missing for most of the season. Mohamed Elneny found the back of the net from the edge of the box to score his first ever Premier League goal then Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the second after Gabriel Martinelli found him. The main talking point after the game was the unadulterated anti-Arsenal bias of Don Goodman on Sky Sports.
Arsenal women

vs West Ham women
Arsenal beat West Ham midweek to move themselves to within three points of a return to the Champions League.
vs Everton women
They duly picked those up thanks to a 2-1 win at Everton on Sunday thanks to goals from Katie McCabe and a Kim Little penalty in the 90th minute to turn one point into three.
Arsenal would need see a goal difference swing of 26 on the final matchday to lose third place and the Champions League spot to Manchester United.
