The Daily Mail report that Arsenal and Aston Villa are both monitoring developments with Fulham midfielder Andre-Frank Anguissa, whilst Everton are also among those interested, but would need to sell first.

Despite playing for relegated Fulham, Anguissa has a growing number of admirers, and he would cost around £20m. He’s under contract until 2023.

Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to pair someone like Anguissa with Thomas Partey. We’ve already seen the links to Yves Bissouma and Glen Kamara, and Anguissa represents another option for the position.

Anguissa has made 35 appearances for Fulham this season. He primarily excels as a dribbler, ranking among the league’s top midfielders at beating players and carrying the ball up the field.

He’s also strong defensively, making plenty of tackles and interceptions. You can see why he might pair well with Partey, who has felt a bit isolated in recent matches, but Arsenal clearly have a number of potential targets for the spot right now.
