L’Equipe report that Paris Saint-Germain are planning a revamp in their right-back position this summer. They have Florenzi on loan with an option to buy, but currently, they aren’t happy with the player and don’t want to activate that option.

That opens up the possibility of new signings, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Serge Aurier and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin among the reported list of options.

Aurier obviously has a history with PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs, as well as having played for PSG for three seasons earlier in his career. He’ll only have a year left on his Tottenham contract this summer.

But Bellerin is being very strongly linked with a departure from Arsenal this summer, and PSG made a vague attempt to sign him in 2020 before it became clear the two clubs’ valuations were so far apart.

With PSG on the hunt for a right-back again and Arsenal a little more willing to sell, perhaps things will be different this time around.
