Arsenal have signed Southampton academy forward Kaleel Green, with the youngster making the bench against his former club on Tuesday.
Former Southampton teenager Kaleel Green recently updated his social media pages to confirm he’s now with Arsenal, and he made the u18 bench for the first time against his old club this week.
Arsenal Youth report that Green, described as fast and skilful, will be part of Arsenal’s scholarship intake next season.
Green has already played for Arsenal in the younger age groups, posting highlights of his performance against Leeds United last week.

The fact that Green is still eligible for the u16s whilst making the squad for the u18s is an encouraging sign for him. He’ll hope to get further chances to join up with the older age group before the end of the season.
With Arsenal letting go of u18 striker Luke Plange to Derby County recently, there will likely continue to be opportunities for others to step up.
