Arsenal goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk saved a penalty as he and Daniel Oyegoke helped the England u18s to a win on Monday.
Arsenal 18-year-old Hubert Graczyk, a regular starter for the Gunners’ u18 side this season, received a call-up for England along with right-back Daniel Oyegoke for the current international break.
The u18s didn’t have any competitive fixtures scheduled, but they had one planned friendly match against Wales, which Graczyk started.
The goalkeeper was called into serious action before long, with England conceding a penalty with less than 18 minutes on the clock. Fortunately, the Arsenal goalkeeper was on hand to save it and maintain his clean sheet.

At half-time, England made 10 changes, including Graczyk coming off. They brought on fellow young Gunner Oyegoke, who played the full second half as the team won 2-0.
Oyegoke helped to give England the lead despite playing at right-back, after a nice run and pass put Liam Delap through on goal to win a penalty.

It was obviously more of a chance to get a run-out than a serious competitive fixture, but Graczyk and Oyegoke will have done their chances no harm for further call-ups in the future.
