Harry Kane will be fit enough to play against Arsenal at the weekend despite a midweek knock, according to Jose Mourinho.

After scoring twice against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday, Harry Kane came off early with a knock to his knee. He was icing it on the touchline afterwards, raising Tottenham fan concerns over his availability for the North London derby.

Speaking after the match, however, Jose Mourinho suggested there was no doubt Kane would be involved against Arsenal.

“Sunday is a match everyone wants to play and little things will not stop him,” Mourinho said. “I don’t have the feeling it is anything serious.”

Even if Mourinho had said the opposite, Kane would still be nailed on to start. He hasn’t missed a North London derby since his first, and he’s started 13 out of 14 of them, regardless of his injury situation leading up to the game.

But at least we don’t have to pretend there’s any doubt this time. He’s going to be in the team, it’s up to Mikel Arteta and Arsenal to prepare for that better than they did in December.
