Martin Odegaard was Arsenal’s highest-rated player against Olympiacos on Thursday night as almost every outfield player racked up a decent score for a change.

Arsenal’s performance against the Greek Stoke on Thursday night summed up everything we’ve witnessed this season. From the sublime to the ridiculous, the only thing the game missed was a super-dodgy VAR call and an Arsenal red card.

You can’t have everything, I guess.

Odegaard finally opened his Arsenal goal account with a great effort from outside the box but it wasn’t just that that netted him 8.7 in fotmob’s ratings.

He also finished the game with a 90% pass accuracy, four key passes, six out of seven duels won, two blocks, two interceptions, two dribbles attempted (and completed), completed both his attempted tackles, and he also made six recoveries.

The second highest-rated player was Gabriel with 8.5 after the defender scored his second goal for the club with a quick stunning header to give Arsenal the lead again after they’d thrown away yet another goal.

Odegaard’s previous highest score since signing for Arsenal was 7.2 against Benfica with a 7.1 against Leeds the only other score above 7.
