Hector Bellerin is ready to leave Arsenal this summer, with a number of clubs from around Europe interested in signing the right-back.

James Benge of CBS Sports reports that Hector Bellerin was keen to move on from Arsenal last summer, and remains eager for a transfer ahead of the upcoming window. He still has great love for the club and wants to leave on good terms, but he feels it’s time.

Benge names Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, and at least two Serie A clubs in the mix for the full-back. PSG made a bid last summer, but Arsenal were holding out for more cash at the time. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly a fan.

On the other hand, GFFN claim PSG have no genuine interest in Bellerin. We know that the Ligue 1 club signed Alessandro Florenzi last summer on loan, with an option to buy they plan to take up.

CBS Sports suggest PSG are in the market to add Bellerin as an alternative anyway, whereas GFFN are clearly suggesting they’re looking elsewhere.

Even if PSG aren’t interested, it looks like there are plenty of alternatives. This isn’t the first time the likes of Barcelona and others have been linked to the 25-year-old.

Bellerin has made 27 appearances for Arsenal this season and is clearly a well-liked member of the squad by other players and by manager Mikel Arteta.

Yet the fanbase remains divided on him. Some will point to the interest from top clubs as evidence of his quality, others will say it’s a long-awaited chance to cash in.

Bellerin’s current deal expires in 2023, so this summer is certainly the time to make a decision.
