Juventus went into their final Champions League group game on Tuesday needing an unlikely result away in Barcelona. Not only did they need to win, but they also needed to score at least three goals to get the head-to-head advantage over their opponents.

Within 20 minutes, the away side were already 2-0 up, and they completed the job with a third just after the break. Former Gunner Aaron Ramsey started the match, and he played an important part in the result.

Though Ramsey didn’t provide any assists or score any goals, his work in midfield led to both of the first-half finishes. He also made four interceptions and three tackles in a hard-working display that will have pleased his manager.

One fan put together a compilation of the best bits from his performance:

Arsenal could use a bit of that dynamism in midfield, but sadly, that ship has sailed. It’s nice to see Ramsey doing well and reaching the knockout stages all the same.
