Former Arsenal and Manchester United man, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, was on the end of a fist during his side’s game against Young Boys in the Europa League.

Mkhitaryan has been a player reborn since he left Arsenal for Roma, first on loan and then in a permanent move last summer.

While we are used to seeing players being sent off for a little slap or, like with Nicolas Pepe (but not Fred) a movement of the head towards another player.

So, when I saw the headline that Mkhitaryan had been punched I wasn’t expecting to see an actual punch.

But he was properly punched, even if the opposition player didn’t land it quite right, he certainly gave it a good go:

Mkhitaryan has 15 goals and 12 assists in just 41 games for Roma.

To compare, he scored 13 at United, with 11 assists, in 63 games. At Arsenal, he scored just nine, with 13 assists, in 59 games.
